I can’t sing (well).
I can’t draw (well).
I can’t play musical instruments (at all).
I can’t paint (well).
I can’t dance (well).
For all of these things – I have others – do them for me. Thanks, by the way, all of you talented and skilled persons out there, for all that you do for me.
But here’s a special thank you. To my niece. Who once again went out of her way (to Ireland) to dance. That’s right, because I can not. Dance, or be in Ireland, at this time. Why else would she do this? Sure it might have something to do with her ability, skill, discipline, drive, desire, parental and sibling support, friends who support her, judges who score her, people who cheer her. It might have nothing to do with me.
So you would think.
But when I watch her I can only watch for me. I can only cheer from me. I can only see for me. And when I watch her I see flying feet of grace, power, and determination. I feel intense. I feel amazed. I am in awe. When I know she is competing I can’t help but know she is the best in the world. And I can’t wait for the competition to be over so the rest of the world knows too.
So beautiful.
What a wonderful gift you have, that when you use your gift, someone else feels it. Appreciates it. And knows it is a very special thing you do.
When you dance.
For me.
I hope you dance forever beautiful and amazing girl.
And thank you, for dancing for me.
No, this is not a dance picture. Yes, I stole it from her Facebook page. Yes, I have dancing pictures. No, the dancing pictures were not better. Her feet are always moving so fast you can’t get a good dance shot unless you are a pro. I am not. So I thought I would use this picture of her flying.

Rooting for her from America is nowhere as good as being in Ireland to cheer her in person.
Amen!!!!
Beautiful and talented. Must be a Faherty thing.
Oh Janet! *blush* You make me happy.
STUNNING GREEN!! STUNNING
And for your niece, no doubt.
