Does it make me a runner if I can say “my quads hurt” because of a run. Well, actually 2 runs?
I’d like to think it does.
Maybe actually running makes me a runner.
This was my second full “run” since the knee blowout. I’ve had quite a few walks. And some minor treadmilling. But Monday I ran 2 miles. Today I ran two miles.
When I say “run” I do actually mean run. Maybe a jog. But it was better than a walk. And better than it was a couple of weeks ago.
I want to be a runner.
If I’m not a runner yet, I think I’m on my way. So I think I’ll be happy with saying my quads hurt. And it does indeed make me very happy.
