He sighs after every single sip of every single beverage he drinks.
He thinks every time he is right about a pedestrian or driver’s inappropriate maneuvering it is a learning lesson that he is obligated to teach them.
He believes if he says something “with authority” that anyone in ear shot for take him at his word and not question whether it is accurate or true. He said it, so it must be.
He puffs in his sleep. Puff. Puff. Puff. Puff. At exact intervals. (If he gets out of rhythm it is even more disturbing.
He always lets his mustache grow too long. It curls under.
He does not like food with flavor.
I love him and…
He gives me the last piece of chocolate.
He does all of the grocery shopping.
He makes me a green smoothie every single day.
He pretends it doesn’t bother him when I let loose with an expletive (done rarely).
He humors me with every new “thing” I must try to do. (He doesn’t know it yet but I’m now convinced I need to learn to play the guitar.)
He surprises me nearly weekly with little gifts he has bought me.
I love him and he loves me. Even if it’s not perfect it’s perfectly wonderful.
🙂
I believe it is perfect ❤ Very sweet, Colleen.

This is a great way to show that we love the people in our lives….for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, when smelling good or when stinky, when puffing and perfect intervals or irregular intervals. Thank you for this lovely post. You always make me smile.

Oh thank you! Making others feel good is a wonderful feeling in it’s self. Love is great when it goes beyond the hearts it lives in and makes others smile. 🙂

“Puffs in his sleep”, my dad does this and it drives my mom batty!! She tries to turn his head in the opposite direction and he says its like sleeping with a raccoon! LOL
I love your love story, it sounds as perfect as perfect gets! 🙂

Thank you!!!! I thought he was the ONLY one who did it. Normally I have to “do” it so people understand. Tell your mom I share her battiness! 🙂

I know! For all of the good and the love I see in the world, if the world would start talking it up more than the “negative” I think things would start changing for the better all on it’s own.
