No bike rides today.
I went out on the trail anyway.
I left a little fellow on a bench a long the trail.
I hope no one sits on him.
Then I wanted to come home and make a real snowman. Apologies to Little Benched Snowman above. He is real. When I got home I had intended to make a life size snowman. Carrot nose. Something eyes. Sticks for arms. Even a scarf if necessary. Oddly the snow would only stick to my gloves. So the snowman that now adorns my porch is sadly ….depressed.
I think he has a little pink-eye.
And he’s tiny.
And I was going to make him a smile with the cinnamon candies.
But I ate the rest of the candies.
Now this snowman will only contemplate.
And not speak.
He’s only a snowman.
What could he possibly have to say anyway.
🙂
He’s cold because he doesn’t have a hat. And you left his friend out on the trail.

They can just go visit one another. Think of them as “Watch Snowman”. They are policing the trail.

It’s beautiful Colleen, I guess making snowman is not as easy as we think, those cartoons can be misleading lol 🙂

Exactly. And who makes gloves that stick to snow? You can’t make a good snowball, fort, or snowman if you pat/pat/pat and pull your hands away and the snow is split between your hands. It was like snow velcro! 😉

🙂 Thanks for thinking he is cute. I think I am going to make random little snow people where ever I go. Hoping they catch the eye of someone, anyone, and make them smile.

We got a little bit of everything today. New Year’s Eve. Bad weather cancelled our friends driving to visit. And Husband’s sickness (flu?) is stopping us from leaving. Nice quiet night at home. 🙂 And no new snowman.

Maybe you can stick some winter-fresh gum for eyes, nose and a mouth. I told my husband about your snowman. You make me laugh.

🙂 Always happy to hear a pleasant chuckle. Next time I will use anything BUT hot cinnamons since I now realize I have perpetuated a constant burning upon this Snowman.

I like them both! And I love the idea of leaving little snow people at random spots to bring happiness to those who might notice them! I may have to do that! 🙂

I agree with optimistigladness! He’s crying because of the spicy cinnamon candies. Now, had you made his eyes, nose, and mouth out of M&M’s, he probably would’ve come to life! 🙂

I know! But I didn’t have any. And today Husband asked if I saw Snowman yet today. I went to look….I would say his pink eye is contagious and is spreading to pink neck. Pink belly…..
