How Do You See Me

I think we spend a lot of time wondering, worrying, freaking out about how other’s see us.

Or maybe it’s just me.

Someone taught me a great lesson today.

She’s five.

She wanted to “make me”.  We have little foam body shapes and colorful clothes and hair to create people.   We’ve done this before.  But no one ever made “me”.

Today she made me.

And she sees me like this:

How She Sees Me

How can I ever worry about how anyone sees me again?

She loves me not because of how I appear but because of who I am to her, for her.   Today she told me that when she thinks of me she thinks of “me and you sitting on the moon together”.

Lesson taught.  Lesson learned.  I worry about this no more.
