Our faces give us away.
Every time.

I’m Going To Leak A Little Sadness.

Silly-Fed Up-I’m Done With This

Uh-Oh!

That Was NOT Fun

Safety

Pleasantly Suprised

Not Sure I Believe You

I Can’t Take It Anymore!

I Love You and I Tolerate You

Joy

I Believe

Frustration

Exasperation

Didn’t Like That As Much As I Thought I Would

Can’t It Wait. I’m Exhausted.

Uncertainty
We can’t hide what we truly feel.
From the very start.

Some interesting faces you have in your life …. All adorable – and so funny. That little one with the intense blue eyes – is some star. It’s the same boy on all the photos?? Love the way you had put the explanations to the expressions.

Some of those faces may have meant something else to the little one expressing them…. 😉
There’s three different ones in the pictures. At different stages. All of the pictures are older.

I love this! All those cute little faces made me smile. 😀 It’s wonderful how children don’t hide their emotions behind the masks a lot of us develop as we grow older. The good news, I’ve found, is that those masks drop again as we grow even older.

this is beautiful….from the very start…but the sad thing is, we learn to hide at the moment we feel hurt by purpose or because we feel shame or too much responsibility…..

Thank you Anie. All these little faces, I hope they grow up wiser than I, and wiser than many others….

Oh I think you are very wise…and I ponder what it mean to grow up wise…Surely it has a lot to do with learning…😔unfortunately I was always a very bad learner…

Anie you are so sweet and supportive to think I am wise. I am a VERY slow learner. And just to be AS supportive to you, you have expressed great compassion and wisdom here (and other blogs). 🙂

Thanks, Colleen, I’m far from wisdom but I’ve always had a lot of compassion in life and patience and certainly a nice heart. To learn I was often too lazy and sometimes I just did not want to know things …I wanted to use my time otherwise…; ) … today I think, you learn a lot in life itself. And the art and the goal must be more likely not to lose the compassion, the patience and the nice heart, if you do not feel well yourself.

I can relate to what you say about being too lazy to learn things. I find it VERY difficult to put energy into learning things that I just do not want to know. Even if I’m ‘supposed’ to know it. 😉

you are so right. Ultimately, however, we will want to learn everything we need to know for our life-plan… what others think, what we are “Supposed” to know, should not matter to us …; )
