Colleen, I have seen some of it, actually a lot, especially for a redneck from KY. But so so much of it does scare me, and I don’t want to see it. Take care, Bill
The world just isn’t as friendly as it once was. It doesn’t seem to matter how big or how small the country is, folks withn those boundries find all manner of ways to be destructive. And the bulk of the destruction seems directed directly to those that can’t protect themselves. Clearly they are cowards and bullies. This country has so much to offer, I don’t need to travel anymore. Please take care, Bill
Husband and I have discussed this very thing. Traveling abroad is appealing. But traveling here has it’s advantages and is also appealing. Though I don’t think we are any more safe than the other places I fear. I am just more familiar with “here”. Thank you Bill.
Simply moving, love it. I have a little bit of a different take on being scared, I think its healthy to a point – if we listen to our heart in these moments, we can develop a deeper awareness an inner dialog we often tune out during these tough times. Be well this evening and please take care. 🙂
Thank you Cultfit. I agree with you. My fears aren’t about differences. But true and dangerous fears. And still, we must have this inner dialogue, even about these things. Thank you for your positive message.
Sometimes fear brings good change. Why does it take bad to get good?
I like t shirt idea with simple thoughts, but greeting card good too.
Hey, by the way? Where in the hell have u been?
This so much reminds me of the figure (a god) holding up a globe… Atlas?? But the message comes though well. There ARE some scary places…and at times, one can look in their own backyard. Fortunately, there are many more places out there that would be wonderful to see.
(ps Don’t get carried away with your stick figures! Go back to your first one and compare…please.)
There is Atlas who holds up the world…. and it could seem reminiscent of that….though this fella isn’t holding it up as much as looking it over, all over.
I will compare. But truly Koji I’m not trying to change them. This is how they jump out of my pen! 🙂
Okay….in fairness to you I went back and checked the first couple of posts of them. Only the bike one had the stick figure head/helmet. The rest of them had the oval heads. Hold on, I will mail you my glasses. 😉
I’m with you on that!

Nods … but …. perhaps tis the fear of the unknown.
The world is large … and small … the differences and … beliefs … and .. visions … scare… until you get up close… and realize … we have much in common.
Your friend,

Hi Katie! Good to see you! I agree, our differences aren’t as great as our common factors.
I don’t fear the differences.
I fear the bad things happening all around the globe. And don’t understand them.

Okay, THIS is brilliant, Colleen! You simply MUST do a series of greeting cards. You simply MUST! Hope you’re feeling better!
Hugs from Ecuador (where we do have blenders, by the way)

I hear you Bill. I’ve seen “some” but not enough to even qualify as a fraction. So very much to see! But so very much instability every where!

Marvelous idea, the greeting cards. I second that!
The world is more confusing these days. Sad but true. That’s why it’s scary.

Good thing to be aware that’s a reality, so we don’t venture where we may regret, for real. Wisdom!

That was my thinking Paulette. I have desire to see differences and similarities and to learn. But there are places just not safe.
