    • 🙂 Thank you Mark. 🙂

I always feel like providing more. But that got me to thinking. I was sitting there and the phrase “I can give you 1000 words” just came out. I wrote it in my notebook. And I thought….what if it doesn’t take 1000 words? Hence….my brilliance for the day. 😉

      • Really, Colleen, 1,000 words is a heck of a lot of words.

The Associated Press sent out an order to all reporters two weeks ago that all stories written, except the one main news story of each day, shall be 200 words long, maximum. And that main story shall be 700 words maximum.

The news reporting word hole is shrinking.

        Here, we have luxury.

Still, 1,000 words is a lot of words. 🙂

        • It is a lot of words. I do feel sad that reading is being so condensed. I will admit that there have been times when I have gone to blogs for more information than what news sources have reported.

I’m usually well under 1000 words. But have enough of them that approach it and go over….but for good reason.

Interesting that my comments are longer than my post. 😉

  1. Colleen, LMAO I will give you 1,000 or 2,000 words and there is a message there someplace too. I do wish I could convey my message as briefly as you do (sometimes). Take care, Bill

  2. Love this…it’s clever and insightful, Colleen! Kinda brilliant. The first thing that popped into my head was how much is said by saying nothing…hence the next thought – passive aggressive people. That’s all! 🙂 ~Karen~

  3. What we take out of something, what we choose to leave behind. What a simple look can give without words, or a touch…can be construed in many ways. I did laugh though as I was expecting more 🙂
