Song On A Rock

In the middle of the woods.

Atop a boulder they climbed.

To sing.

To strangers.

Song On A Rock

Then

They asked others to sing.

And they did.

Faith Singing

I was not the only one to cry at the pure,

Simple,

Faithful,

Sound of music.

In the cave.

And on the rock.

  1. So it was a rock song, yes? (I’m so sorry… I couldn’t resist, actually Colleen, this was a touching blog.)

That’s the spirit. I love when people share the beauty of voice, of music, of the thought and act of sharing the beauty of voice and music. Cool beans, Colleen.

I am belated to visit your posts. Up at my Mom’s there was an emailer who would compete with the one who loves to play Solitaire at the computer! I could not get to it, except to post something in my drafts and then relinquish the machine back to one or the other of them! Smiles for the beauty of the Amish ones who sang out in Nature! I would have gotten teary-eyed, too! Lovely post, Colleen and so glad you shared the photographs, too!

    • Thank you Robin. 🙂 Don’t worry about catching up. If I get ONE day behind I am overwhelmed with the efforts to keep up!!!! Blogging is a full time job on top of a full time job on top of LIFE. 😉
