While I take the liberty.
To at least mentally.
While I play at being responsible.
How great would it be to take a bike ride in the warm sun today?
Oh my, so wonderful. Sun and chilly would be nice. Warm and rainy would be nice. A combination of many would be nice, as long as we were properly prepared. 😉
Well “Spoken”, Colleen. You have “pedaled” your message well.
And that, dear Stacey, was very well played! 🙂

Ah, don’t we all. Sometimes I don’t even play at being responsible!!
That made me quite happy. 🙂 And sometimes, I think you might be on to something. Remember the phrase from “Risky Business”? 😉
🙂 Of course.
I just may join you on that ride. 🙂
Let’s go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
haha Colleen! I know exactly what you mean!
Going through cycles… 😉 I was just thinking about how nice it would be to go for a bike ride. It’s warm enough for it, but the wind is wicked strong today and there’s a big batch of rain just a few miles away.
Oh it was a work day with wicked wind here too. So thinking about a bike ride was all I got to do…. 😦 But at least I am building up a HUGE burning desire to go. 🙂 Which means I hope to build up some miles this year. Last year was not kind to my bike riding wants. I hope to make up for it this year.
Same here. I didn’t ride nearly as much as I’d planned. Here’s to getting some good mileage this year. 😀
Cheers to that Robin!!!!
Colleen – I just found Tom’s mountain bike in the garage. He hasn’t ridden it in years but I’m taking it to the dealer for new tires. I think I need to put it to good use. I have a hard time getting to the gym with Tom not being able to go and I still dislike the gym environment. Wish me luck – – – I’d rather have a 7 or 8 yr horse in the back yard but I think the neighbors would probably complain! We have many bike riding trails. You motivate me, just in case you didn’t know.
Pooh on the neighbors! Wait, maybe that’s what they’re afraid of…
I’m tickled to think I many motivate anyone! I hope you go for that bike ride. I can’t think of a better thing to do. A fresh air cruise under your own power. I’m only sorry Tom can’t go with you. I’m not in to the gym scene either. Please let me know how that ride goes. 🙂
The wind in your hair. Darn helmets. A light breeze along the way and let all your cares fly away. Sometimes you have to drop everything and go for it, especially in the middle of something that’s dragging you down. ❤ ❤
Oh don’t I know it! At least mentally I can pretend. The helmet is a must. I’ve had enough meetings with the pavement to not even want to take that chance. 😉 But it’s all good. I love the ride. And oh how I look forward to my next one. 🙂
THAT is quite evident. Hope it is soon. ❤
Thank you Tess. Feeling the pull of the wheel……a couple of weeks ago I told my husband I HAD to go on a bike ride in the morning. Woke up to freezing temps and pouring down rain. 😦
Ouch. The best laid plans… Soon. 😀
I can wait, as long as I can imagine. 🙂
😀 😀 😀
Isn’t being responsible what we “play” most of the time? 🙂
Shhhhhhhh, it’s certainly what I’m doing! 😉
Then lips sealed here!
I hope you had a lovely and llloooonnnnngggg bike ride!!
Only in my imagination Priceless. But it counts there too! 🙂
Yes, that counts too!
bike ride and an Irish beer. If you’re going to ride you might get thirsty.
If I was going to drink a beer, it would be Irish, and after a bike ride! 🙂
Love the bicycle and your chore tools in hand! ha ha!
🙂 All activities have their tools! 🙂
Close your eyes and pedal to the great escape, MDB Colleen. 🙂
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Here’s to the first ride!!!!! Mental or real!!!!! 😉
I know I’ve heard the word responsible somewhere before. Never did figure it out.
Eh…..sometimes over rated. No point in learning it now. 😉
Okay I won’t worry about it then. 😉
Great stuff, chatter. I have a change of address, I lost you off my reader, you are back today! yay!
YAY! I lose folks periodically, it’s so hard to keep track. Thank you for finding me! 🙂
So now I can refollow YOU! 🙂
🙂 big smiles!
