  8. What a beautiful old tree! I would love to hear the stories it would tell (if it could).

  9. Such a gorgeous photo Colleen. Love that you say it…I often feel like I am but a speck in this universe. If only we are kinder to each other and not feel as though the world revolves around us but the other way around 🙂

    • Well said! We do need to remember it is us who are spinning madly like little dust motes around this huge galaxy. I could go for a huge dose of kindness being spread about generously!!!

Took a minute to recognize it, but then it took me right back there. Oh the powers of pictures to jog memories.

Wonderment at this creation in nature. This is how I felt looking at how small you look in comparison. I have never been out West to the edge of where the Redwood trees are, Colleen, but have been under some towering trees. They certainly produce the sense of what you expressed here today!

    • Oh Robin I would love to go myself. It is one of the “must do’s” if I have a ‘must do’ list. Those trees and the idea that they are there and exist gives me great comfort. I want to go and just touch them. I feel like I will be touching the history of all the world that has existed they first sprouted in the rich earth that holds them still.
