Truth in creativity.
Of something so immense
Love the image, the green, and the contrast of Nature and humanity. 🙂
Thank you Niaaeryn. 🙂
Thank you Marissa! 🙂
Beautiful post Colleen 😀
Thank you Irene 🙂
Did you take the photo of this wonderful tree?
No, this is a Picture By Po. 🙂
The awesome beauty of trees!. I love it!
It was pretty beautiful. 🙂 Thanks Chris. 🙂
it really puts things in perspective –
I need to look at this when I am feeling a bit big headed. 🙂
beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! The photo certainly tells a story, and I like it.
Thank you April. 🙂 It was quite regal standing there.
What a magnificent tree and that photo captures it so well. 🙂
Well I can’t take credit for the tree or the picture. But I’ll take credit for staring at it. 🙂
What a beautiful old tree! I would love to hear the stories it would tell (if it could).
I know! Imagine the world that has existed through out the time of it’s existence…. all of the changes. All of the lives that have passed by it.
I know. Wouldn’t the stories be interesting!
Better than ones I can tell! 😉
Such a gorgeous photo Colleen. Love that you say it…I often feel like I am but a speck in this universe. If only we are kinder to each other and not feel as though the world revolves around us but the other way around 🙂
Well said! We do need to remember it is us who are spinning madly like little dust motes around this huge galaxy. I could go for a huge dose of kindness being spread about generously!!!
Took a minute to recognize it, but then it took me right back there. Oh the powers of pictures to jog memories.
They do a good job of it.
Wow majestic tree with a toy person set up beside it. 😉
🙂 I feel like a prop sometimes!
I think you’re barking up the right tree, MBC! Wowzer squared.
Right? Trees like that just call to me. I wonder if Ol’ Johnny Appleseed crossed my path in a previous life. Or the Master Himself planted a love for the magnificence of them in my heart. I would love to go see the great ones…..
Yes, California is a callin’. Big ones out there, MBC.
Wonderment at this creation in nature. This is how I felt looking at how small you look in comparison. I have never been out West to the edge of where the Redwood trees are, Colleen, but have been under some towering trees. They certainly produce the sense of what you expressed here today!
Oh Robin I would love to go myself. It is one of the “must do’s” if I have a ‘must do’ list. Those trees and the idea that they are there and exist gives me great comfort. I want to go and just touch them. I feel like I will be touching the history of all the world that has existed they first sprouted in the rich earth that holds them still.
Thank you! 🙂
