Do not take advice from the angry, the hateful or the bitter.
Thank you MeWhoAmI. I hope someone else thinks so.
Ha ha. I won’t even go near any who’s angry, hateful or bitter. Good advice, indeed.
Thank you Tess. I hope it makes sense to others too. 😉
Duh. So wrapped up in their problems they are deaf to anything else. 😦
Well, hopefully they are deaf to THIS advice! 😉
😀 😀 😀
Those are very wise words!
Thank you Priceless! 🙂
Right! And don’t take advice from yourself when you’re angry!!
Oh! Okay, I need to REMEMBER that! 😉
Really, how often have I been guilty of that one?? It’s almost like taking advice from yourself after you’ve been drinking!!
Well I’ve never taken advice from myself after drinking….but I can’t deny the other…….
Actually, I don’t drink at all, thank goodness. I know we don’t always make the most sensible decisions under either circumstance anyway!
I’m a teetotaler myself. But I have a large supply of family and friends who don’t mind filling in that advice while drinking slot….. 😉
Thank you, I won’t.
🙂 Me either Paulette.
Duly noted. 😉
🙂 Some advice I see just makes me shudder Huck.
I hear you.
Perfectly timed advice yet again. Thank you 🙂
You’re welcome. Prevention? 🙂
🙂 I hope another notes it Jen.
Very good advice Colleen 🙂
I saw some bad stuff being offered Irene and it made me want to scream in frustration. Some people have so place giving advice. It makes me so sad.
And don’t give advice when you are angry or bitter.
THAT is why you should be my cowriter, it should have been sentence #2.
Yes, MBC. That’s the original “go viral.”
🙂 It is, isn’t it? 😉
It spreads like wildfire, unfortunately, quick and ugly, MBC.
Sad but true MBM.
Those bitter and angry people? They are full of toxic advice and they think everybody needs to listen to their advice, and they are hard to ignore, but it can be done.
I have learned this, I hope to help someone else learn this. It’s the teaching that part that’s difficult. It’s such a balance to teach that without someone thinking you are “bashing” someone they “like” or love.
Oh…I understand that one completely.
Lol so true!!!
🙂 Sometimes the simplicity is the best way to go. 🙂
Very astute observation and hope we all remember this when the time comes to listen to the ones who are like this with a big ‘grain of salt,’ then disregard the advice. Perfectly said, Colleen!
Thank you Robin. I just hope that those who need to take it with that grain of salt, remember the salt! 😉
Sometimes, anger clouds your own mind.
Indeed it does Koji.
