I should have said

“You just did”.

Because that’s how it felt

As soon as her spoken word

Entered my heart.

    • Thanks MBM, At that moment, I think, standing in an office, kind of floundering and not really knowing …. It validated the rush of emotions when she acknowledged how difficult it was.
