I went to a bridal shower today. The bride to be asked the bride of forty plus years for any advice. She offered it kindly and without hesitation: Don’t keep a score card.
I thought it pretty wise.
For any relationship.
It was a great response!
Wise. And I like your little caricature, hehe.
🙂 Thank you!
It was well received!
Very good advice at any age.
Amen K.A! 🙂
Great advice Colleen!
How did you do the fire in your illustration? Pretty impressive. ❤
Thank you Diana! It’s an online editing program: picmonkey.com I love it! 🙂
It looks lit up!
I know, I love picmonkey! 🙂
Tub o’Score Cards =perfect. I can’t explain why, it just is.
Totally agree with that advice too 🙂
🙂 Thanks NAPR.
It was definitely spot on advice.
Reblogged this on bikebrown.
Great advice! Every couple needs to hear that.
I know it makes me think. I believe it’s beneficial to all kinds of relationships.
The best advice of the ages. ❤ ❤
Works for me!
Me too. ❤ ❤
Very wise. ❤
She should get bonus points. 🙂
Definitely the wisest words I have seen on the subject. As an old German saying goes, Too soon old, Too last smart. By it is nice to gain some wisdom regardless! 🙂
Ohhhhhhh, I like that saying Chris.
Great advice. Otherwise no one wins
I’d hate to be in a marriage where only one of us wins. Shudder.
those don’t last too long 🙂
Point made. 🙂
Great advice. Without score cards there can be three winners: Both spouses and their relationship.
Perfect Russ! 🙂
Love this and Russ’s comment 💛💛💛
Me too! 🙂
Brilliant and very wise advice. 🙂
She wins the cake for this one Robin. 🙂
So very true!
Need to burn them up quick Huck. 🙂
Then…… Why is it wives never forget? LOL
Ha! If it makes you feel better…I forget ALL the time! Husband, on the other hand, remembers EVERY thing! 🙂
I like to forget more these days, sleep on my thoughts and realize the next day, they don’t amount to a ‘hill of beans,’ Colleen!
It’s a better person, who doesn’t keep score. Once she said that people I know started running through my head and I knew exactly what she meant.
Yes, and I love the fire you have there too. 🙂
Thank you 🙂
It is wickedly cool. 🙂
I try, but I have a great memory. Luckily his is awful. 🙂
Lucky you. I forget easily. He remembers better. But I argue better. 😉
