❤ We have a lotta folks out there doing the "mom" thing who aren't traditional "mom" so whatever their make up is….holla! 😉

I absolutely agree. Kids need love, care and understanding. Whatever heart can stand in with love is fine by me. ,3 ❤ ❤

It breaks my heart to think kids suffer neglect of any kind. 😥

It’s a pretty horrific world out there for some kids Tess, that’s for sure. 😦

I couldn’t survive an job on the front lines–like social workers for instance. My heart couldn’t take it if I couldn’t fix a kid’s world / situation right away. ❤

Isn’t it wonderful to think of all of the people who fill these roles???? ❤

One time I started listing all my roles and finally stopped at 50. I thought no wonder I felt so overwhelmed!
Here’s another great take on our roles as mothers from another blogging friend that I also liked (and thought you would as well):

FIFTY? You stopped at FIFTY? I shudder to think how many there would have been had you continued……
I am clicking on the other post now.

Yeah, I couldn’t believe it either. Worse yet, I couldn’t even chose what the top 5 should be so I could let all the other ones go. It’s in one of my handwritten journals somewhere in the last few years. I should dig it out and take a look and see if I can get more clarity on it.

I’d be curious if reading it gave you that overwhelming feeling again….or a feeling of accomplishment.

Lovely, thought you’d like to know another Irish one you have Máthair (mother) but we would more often say mamaí which would be more casual, like mum or mom and Mamó for nana.
Happy mothers day, we had ours in March.
