I’m going to cross over
In to the world of sunshine
A day off.
Where the only pressure I have to worry about
Is in my bike tire.
And what kind of ice cream to eat.
Take me with you!!!
No problem! We have bikes to lend out! 🙂
It’s been a while since I’ve been on a bike but…you know what they say!
You’ll never forget! 🙂
That’s true. Actually, my daughter did just get a mid sized kids bike and I think I did a few rotations on it.
Sweet! Went on another ride today. Used to I had or made time to ride nearly every day. Sadly, adulthood catches up with you at some point and you have to make do. So I get up at 5 am to ride my bike in the house on a trainer.
There’s nothing like the freedom of a bike!
Yeah, I used to ride my bike to college every day…about 5 miles on the streets of Brooklyn regardless of the weather. Sometimes it was scary but it was always nice to be out in the open and navigate around traffic if need be.
I wish the world was bike friendly…..what a different world it would be. 🙂
It’s gotten a bit better recently, I guess now that people are more environmental, but I don’t think it will ever be a popular enough mode of transportation to really consider the world bike friendly…unless you’re in Amsterdam!
Amsterdam sure knows how to do it. But there are other places as bike friendly/needy. And I think it’s a GREAT way. I know of bike trail systems in the works and it makes me sad that so many of them will not be finished in my life time (literally). But I’m still happy for them being in the works.
Oh that’s good. It will make bike riding safer I’m sure.
I do hope you had a lovely day.
Thank you Sheri, it was perfect 🙂
Lovely day! Down to the ice cream! A truly “should-be” day!
Touche! Koji! A ‘should be” day indeed! 🙂
Enjoy your day off!
Thank you Priceless, it was wonderful!
these are the best kind of worries to have )
It sure beats the other ones! 🙂
Enjoy your day with new explorings Colleen 😀
Thank you Irene! It was a beautiful day! ❤
Very nice to hear Colleen 😀
Aww, lovely. Enjoy your day. ❤
Thank you Paulette! This one is in the books and it was a great read! 🙂
I think it sounds like a wonderful day. And ice cream is a great reward at the end of a long bike ride. When my husband and I used to do distance riding (back when we lived in Illinois still and had limestone paths), we used to do that. Ride 50 miles, go to Colonial Ice Cream for a burger and a sundae, then go get our daughter from her grandmother. Those were some great times.
Nancy, that sounds like the best kind of day to me! I can’t wait for the day when the kids decide riding a bike with me is the best thing ever. It was a great day. 🙂
Sounds like my kind of day Colleen! ❤
Then that makes us a club Diana! 🙂
Now that is a good kind of pressure! I hope you’ve been out and about, enjoying your day and your ice cream. With no flat tires! 🙂
No flats!!!! Woot Woot!!!! 🙂
One which will be beautiful in all ways. Wow! Gorgeous view across the span of the bridge.
Thanks Robin. I had fun with that picture!
How inflating this post is, MBC. 🙂
Ha!! Good thing. I’ll carry it in case I need it for my tires! 🙂
I hope you had a double scoop! 🙂
Actually it was Ben And Jerry’s, Cherry Garcia, on a stick and wrapped in chocolate! 😉
