When I was quiet
They didn’t hear me
And the creatures of the world
Okay, I’m sitting. Shhhhh. 🙂 ❤
🙂 Me too….. 🙂
Where The Wild Things Are, maybe?
Very possibly, at one point I did think something was coming after me….
This is such a salute to silence and the reward of serenity found in nature’s surrounding “voices.” I really liked your trees, squirrel and you atop a hill. Big smiles!
Thank you Robin! 🙂 It was a last minute, quick throw together ‘art’ to go with my words that had been sitting there for a week. 🙂
Your throw together art is a pleasure, Colleen. It fits. 🙂
Awww, thank you again Robin!!! ❤
I think I was flying above your head there – quietly though. Did you see me?
I think so. Funny you say that. Because I took pictures of this ‘painting’ in it’s stages. I used this one instead of the last one, which has a bird flying in it. 🙂
Ha – imagine that — birds of a feather… grin.
You are ON it today Stacey! 🙂
calm and peace.
…..and feeling it.
Beautifully illustrated, in words and in the drawing.
Thank you NAPR ❤
You have watch out though. If you are too still squirrels could think you are hiding food and they can be fearless. Still, hearing them and watching them dart about is calming and amusing simultaneously.
In a huge forrest with no other human around, they are also very LOUD. 🙂
Great advice Colleen – just sit down. Listen. Watch. Learn. ❤
Thank you Diana ❤
Or..just stop and smell the roses.. 🌹🌹
That too. There were some wonderful smells in the forrest that day Jenn. 🙂
I’m glad ☺️
Sitting down, finally. Sometimes it is all one has to do. Love your art – so apt for this piece.
Thank you very much MeditatingMummy. I tagged it ‘bad art’ but it’s kind of growing on me. 🙂
