Momentum

I have two speeds.

Go.

and

Stop.

Go until I get there.

Stop when I am there.

Go

I enjoy the movement to get where I’m going.

I love the destination when I arrive.

Stop

There is exhilaration in both.

Get up and go.

Stop when you get there.

these days my ‘Go’ speed is getting slower and my ‘Stop’ speed lasting longer πŸ˜†

    Stop=re-energize
Go=share the energy, love, etc πŸ™‚

I must admit Colleen, I usually pause to take in the view … or have a pee break along the way …. πŸ˜‰

    • I get that Val. Pause = stop. No journey is one long movement. πŸ˜‰ (This was actually a response from so many people complaining I walk fast and I keep telling them I have 2 speeds: go and stop.) πŸ˜‰

That is true and although I instantly thought of a road trip when I read it, it can apply to many things in life. We must enjoy both the journey and the destination. Love it!

Your travels and ruminations make my heart start and stop, MBC!

  21. I have two speeds too. The in-between is sometimes a shock to my system.. I can’t stop.

    • Ha! I’m glad some people get this. I truly don’t ‘go fast’ to be going fast. It’s just that when it’s in my head to ‘go’ I have to go. When I need to stop then I just stop! Anything else is not natural and like you say, a shock!!
