In Theory

It’s as easy as

Assuming that is,

That you know 1, 2 and 3.

Or A, B, and C.

In practice

It may not be so easy

If you don’t know

That 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C.

And to be fair,

Not everyone does.

Awww, this was such a very sweet post, Colleen. There are very young children in our country who don’t know these. There are cultures who know different letters or symbols and not everything IS as easy as A B C or 1, 2, 3. Can’t help thinking of the fun song with Michael Jackson. Big hugs sent your way over cyberspace.

  2. Honestly, I’m lost.

  3. Everything’s easy one you learn it!

  4. yes everyone sees things in a different way and we all start at a different point! love it

Love the artwork…hey, it was tough learning my ABC’s! I’m proud I finally did.

I love watching young children start to form numbers and letters, especially when they are still writing some of them backward. 🙂

    • That is the best writing. No matter what laws there are about writing, when a child writes like that, we all get it. 😉

(and by ‘laws’ I poke fun at grammar and punctuation and handwriting police 🙂 )

Is it wrong that I sang this in my head…I swear I heard the Jackson five. 🙂
