I Wasn’t Looking For It

Signs are every where.

Even when you aren’t looking for them.

But someone thinks you might be.

A Sign

We were out exploring.

Looking for something.

We didn’t know what.

Just looking for something we haven’t seen before.

I wasn’t looking for any signs.

But we found one.

  1. Someone knew that some people are out looking for subtle signs. This sign isn’t so subtle! I love it!

  2. Awesome Colleen! When I first moved to Calgary I was driving down this road and there was a church on the left side with a huge banner that said Jesus Saves. Across the street on the right side was a grocery store with a huge banner that read, We Save You More. Intentional? I don’t know. Hysterical? Almost peed my pants laughing! ❀

  3. Funny, I see signs in the nature around me. But I guess it’s nice to see it in print!

  4. Yup. Signs Signs Everywhere a Sign! Love it.

I actually think those are the best kind of signs. Those that are unsought. πŸ™‚

  7. Definitely a sign Colleen. Don’t you love the ones you couldn’t possibly see coming?

Well, apparently this person isn’t really honoring nature and wildlife, (flora and fauna) Colleen. A little off-putting and not best way to send this message, in my mind.

    • I think the reason it showed up so well was that it really was out in nowhere. It was clean and appeared to be cared for. I suppose it was someone’s way to send a nice message. I imagined it to be the owner of the property who put it there. Though there were no houses close by at all.

There is a similar type of sign outside a local gym here, ‘If you’re looking for a sign this is it, join our gym’.
I think I’d prefer to just enjoy the view of the forest and let it create it’s own message.

I hope someone who really needed that reminder saw it and felt encouraged! It was certainly a bold sign!

    • Wasn’t it? It sure caught our attention! Side note….we were in West Virginia driving the mountain and back roads just enjoying the scenery. We stopped so I could take this picture. Hadn’t seen anyone on the road for an hour. Just then a big truck pulling a trailer comes across us and stopped to make sure we were okay. Good people in that state. πŸ˜‰
