Love the photo. Such an amazing contrast.
Such a white and grey and colorless day. That bell grabbed my eye and I made husband turn around to go see it. 🙂
There are so many unspoken thoughts and stories which could come from this red bell set in a black and white photograph, Colleen.
~I hear the red bell of a school to begin.
~I feel the red bell where true loves ♡ marry in front of a preacher with families abd friends.
~I hear the bells that MLK, Jr said to ring in the streets, ones of Freedom and Equality.
Hope this isn’t getting too excited and carried away? Happy MLK, Jr. Day.
I have to head to bed, working in the am. 🙂
Happy MLK, Jr. Day to you too Robin.
This bell was in an old, unused church. The day was so incredibly grey that the bell just stuck out so vividly.
Colleen, did you have to enhance the red? Just wondering. . .
I did focus on the red. I didn’t have to add red. It was very red on it’s own. But I put the focus on the red alone and made the contrast stronger.
Yourvphoto looks like a “movie still,” Colleen. Thank you for helping me to know your process in this. Lately, I have been using my grandson (Skyler) to explain how to enhance or add to my photos. So far, I have edited the Christmas lights photos and once, tried enhancing a photo. 🙂 I am blessed with several members of my family who like art and photography, Colleen. ♡
That is a blessing, having people who like art and such.
You can get on line editing formats Robin. Mine are usually fairly simple edits, cropping. Or contrast. Or even just putting a frame around a picture. 🙂 I think you would enjoy that.
It was so simply wonderful Marissa 🙂
lovely shot –
Thank you Beth 🙂
Beautiful photo! It really is a red bell!
It really is Priceless. It was so beautiful. I wish I could have gotten a full shot. But I liked what I got to see of it. 🙂
It was a beautiful shot! It showed how red the bell is.
Love it! 🙂
Thank you Tess 🙂
YOU are welcome, Colleen. ❤ ❤ ❤
Great photo Colleen 😀
Thank you Irene! 🙂
Wow! That is just so striking! Beautiful 🙂
Thank you Niaaeryn 🙂
The bell is beautiful and so are the different shingles, curved and cornered. Lovely contrast all around. Xx
