Another Monday gone.
There will be a day
When I would gladly live every Monday
All over again.
Even the rainy ones.
I never wish a Monday
Or a rainy day
I am with you on the rain!! Huge grin. Um, the occasional Monday I may alter, lol. I hope you’re having an awesome day.
I am so far Belinda. I haven’t entered the outer world yet. 😉
What if we just call them all Sunday 2?
Sure. But then Monday might feel ‘less than’ all of the other days. You know, on vacation weeks, Monday is great. Because there are SO many other days left after it!
Oh yeah, I know…without weekdays there would be no weekends…
Everything has it’s own purpose. 😉
Monday gone , Tuesday is come make….
Monday come back will be some of our mantras after time passes quickly….
Well said Colleen.
Thank you Paul.
Unless you live or have lived in Seattle. We used to wish otherwise. 🙂
Why? What happens in Seattle? 🙂
You are kidding, I hope. 🙂
Okay, actually, full disclosure…. I wasn’t kidding. BUT in my defense I thought you were referencing “Monday” and I completely disregarded my own reference to rainy days. 🙂
Thank you for the wise reminder!
You’re welcome Russ. 🙂
i agree )
😀 I would love a year of Mondays tacked on to the end of my days Beth. 🙂
Isn’t that the truth! Never wish a Monday away because there will be a time we would like to have them all back!
I never wish a Monday away either, because the rest of the way slips away after it and guess what. It’s another Monday. 😀 😀
There ya’ go Tess! 😀
Mondays are good, it’s the beginning of what you make of it.
EXACTLY APRIL!!!! 🙂
Now that I am retired, Monday’s don’t matter.
That is so exciting to look forward to!
We pray for rain this end. 🙂
It all looks different to us doesn’t it? 😉
Monday feels like an opportunity for a new beginning, and rainy days are a chance to rest and get caught up. A page turner!
I love a rainy day. Though it’s been a long time since I could like on the couch and read a book on a rainy day. That would be FANTASTIC!!!!!
Well now, I’ve been known to groan about a Monday, unless it rained of course. I have since changed to just embrace every Monday; the start of the week, a day to run and keep healthy. I honestly think Mondays set the pace for every other day of the week, if Monday is happy, every day after, is peaceful.
Great comment MM!!!
I tell people on Monday mornings who are a bit grumbly about it being Monday morning….smile, the worst of it’s over. You’re up. You’re here. Monday morning moment is over. It’s all downhill from here. 🙂
I love rainy days!
Me too 😀
It is best for me to head into work when it IS raining otherwise, I may wish to take a “mental Health day!”
😀 I wouldn’t mind having a mental health day on a rainy day, to read a book. Or a sunny day to go on a bike ride. Or any day I can do something intriguing. 🙂
We should not wish our life away , rain or shine! ❤
Amen Heart! ❤
I like rainy days myself…Mondays…well, I see your point though. *smiles
😉 Mondays and rain should be free passes to stay home and read a great book.
