What keeps me from soaring.
I have the ability to change.
And the authority to do so.
For sure! Ditch that baggage Colleen!
Right? (Now, to stop from going back to pick it up again).
It can be tempting!
Yes. We are quite capable to soar!
It sure is a great feeling. Soaring.
Great post Colleen, we need to free ourselves 😀
I’m with you on that! 🙂
Perfectly illustrated colleen.
Thank you Tric! 🙂
Hmmmm, ummmm, hmmmm Weeeeeell, you are right you have the power to cut the luggage, but I’d pause for a minute before i broke out the scissors. You see I hate prejudice and I hate murder and I hate rape. My job, what I got paid for, used to be to judge the safety of truckers to reduce accidents and injuries. Abuse makes me angry, as does fleecing others of their savings by using untruths and bullying. I used to teach rigidity in following safety protocols and rules of the road. and awareness.
There is a very famous book that says:”There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens … ”
Perhaps it would be more appropriate to pursue Faith and Grace and from that perspective the right use of hate, judgement, anger, and rigidity would become clearer. Life is simultaneously far simpler than we can imagine and far more complex than we can imagine.
Paul, I agree with your assessment of these tools. It’s when we take those tools and use them for something they shouldn’t be used for that weighs us (me) down. I also like the idea of pursuing. Pursuing faith and grace would in turn put all of the tools in their right light. 🙂 Thank you.
clip those strings. and why pay extra for those bags you insist on carrying along with you ?
And knowing this is extra weight….it’s a wonder. WHY do we (me) keep picking it back up again??
This is so true! If only we could all remember to bring the chain cutters along! LOL!
They could be our best friend at times like that. 😉
Yes, indeed! 😀
Super job with this post!!! 😀
Thank you Aishwarya 🙂
You achieve a mighty powerful message in just a few pen strokes. I think the words are almost superfluous! Well done.
Thank you Meritings. 🙂 I almost didn’t use words, so thank you!
yes! And YES! Good one. 🙂
Thank you Paulette 🙂
😀 😀 Love it. Let it all go. Easier not to be tethered. A person can stand straight and tall–easier on the back too. ❤
So much easier on the back. And the spirit! ❤
Indeed. ❤ ❤ ❤
That is me! Wow… I’m highly considering printing this out and posting it next to my workstation. Such a great and very needful reminder.
Print away MWAI! 🙂 Thank you!!!
It is wonderful to see you fly, Colleen.
Thank you Russ 🙂
So true Colleen! I love these drawings!
Thank you Lynn, I mean, Grandma. 🙂
True dat! ❤
Thank you! 🙂
I’d like to not pick up heavy baggage myself, trying to shed one piece of baggage at a time.
That’s the way to do it. 🙂 The not picking it up to begin with is brilliant. 😉
