That I don’t have to be very good
To get a whole lot of enjoyment
Out of doing something.
Ha! So very true Colleen. The last research I read was clear that people do not get as much enjoyment from the things they do well naturally as they do from those things they have to work at. Which makes sense since it is achievement and growth that produces endorphins – not being good.
This makes perfect sense to me!
I agree! If I had to be good at doing something before I could enjoy it, there wouldn’t be much enjoyment in my life. 🙂
Hahahahahahahahahaha! Oh Priceless, I’m with you!!
That’s so true, I adore your art too.
Thank you so much Heart. ❤
Exactly. Whatever makes your heart sing, always does the trick. ❤ ❤ ❤
Love the picture, Colleen. 😀
Thank you Tess! 😉 ❤
You are always welcome, Colleen. 🙂
For me, that’s more important, to enjoy what I’m doing–the process, rather than the rating of it. 🙂
Yes, I can’t rate my enjoyment any way. My skills, maybe, but that would be on a sliding scale in proportion to my enjoyment! 😉
I have found that its not in the doing itself, but how it feeds our soul as we do it that brings the joy 💕
Feeds our soul.
Perfect. And what I need to remember. 🙂 Thank you Val.
Funny because this can be taken too ways…you bad girl, you!
Actually Marissa, I meant two different things with this post. But NOW it means THREE in my head!!!
Whoops! I’m a bad influence.
Depends on how you look at it. 😉
No, not really! It’s pretty much a known fact!
Well if you’re a bad influence I don’t want a good one!
Come to the dark side!
Stepping one shaky foot forward….
Love your illustration, Colleen. And to your words I would respectfully (and pleasingly) add… Out of doing nothing. 🙂
Thank you Eric! 🙂
Kicking back, relaxing and making music is fantastic! Or whatever makes someone happy. . .
🙂 It was a nice morning Robin.
Full of joy and rejuvenation, music is magical!
Oh I completely agree. I am not good at too many things but I enjoy my stupidities as much as I enjoy things I might be good at (I’m still wondering if there are things like that!)…Have an amazing week ahead!
Thank you! A great week to you as well.
Enjoying life is a good way to live it.
So very true!
Sometimes I’m floating in indecision on what, how, when, where, who….and I end up not doing at all.
I get that!
Out of doing nothing.
Touche` Duncan!!!! 🙂
Lean back with your feet up and strum. Love your drawing.
Thank you GoldenBrodie! 🙂
