  3. Very, very true Colleen. Ha! interestingly enough this improvement is one we can all work on, regardless class, age, intellect, etc. I have observed that the topic inevitably appears when there is a conflict, usually person to person, sometimes person to situation.. When I managed others I found that telling them to grow up just made them defensive. Instead, I turned it into a competition by telling employees: “Be the Bigger Person” After a while they would come to me with their triumphs and failures all framed as to who was the bigger person. And in doing so would inevitably do better the next time, which they would report to me.
