We still need to grow up-
Even grownups need to reach.
So very true, Colleen! Even as grown-ups we sometimes still need to grow up.
Amen Priceless, I see that every day in the mirror.
Hahaha! Me too!
Very, very true Colleen. Ha! interestingly enough this improvement is one we can all work on, regardless class, age, intellect, etc. I have observed that the topic inevitably appears when there is a conflict, usually person to person, sometimes person to situation.. When I managed others I found that telling them to grow up just made them defensive. Instead, I turned it into a competition by telling employees: “Be the Bigger Person” After a while they would come to me with their triumphs and failures all framed as to who was the bigger person. And in doing so would inevitably do better the next time, which they would report to me.
THAT is a good way to turn things around Paul. I’m going to have to remember that.
Made me laugh. So true. I’m still learning and growing. 😉
We don’t want to stop that movement do we Paulette? 🙂
I’ve got a long way to go…sometimes I’m not sure if I want to try…
Some things, I don’t think we need to grow up about. Other things….sigh…..I suppose.
I know what you mean.
I was just saying this same thing the other day.
So it’s not just me 😉
I*n*d*e*e*d*! ❤ ❤ 😀
❤ multiplied by laughter. 🙂
On the other hand … Sometimes I think growing up is more about letting go … In order to reach 💕
Oh Val…..THAT is so spot on. And appropriate for me right now.
Still reaching here Lyn…..
Truth and I feel the stretch.
True. We shouldn’t stop growing in some way until we die. Otherwise, what’s the point?
