The road to hell is lined,
On both sides,
With orange construction barrels.
I just know it.
Funny. I started cracking up before I could even click on to comment!! I could just picture it!
😉 It seems to resonate with a few folks.

yes, and i’ve been on that highway to hell all summer )
I’ve been on it one too many times this week Beth.
Oh, yes! Yes it is.
I will drive 40 miles out of my way to avoid them at this point.
Hahahahaha! I agree!
If only they built the roads right to begin with……. 😉
Ahhh, That’s our provincial flower!
HA! never gave this one a thought…you just might be right 🙂 We’ve lived with those barrels and cones soon long her on earth. Hope I never know the correct answer. 🙂
Oh, good point! I hope not either!!!!
Ha ha. Love this one ! ☺ And….I don’t really mind the barrels, but when you come to the end of them, and there are no “Men Working”….ugh.
Yeah…..or when it’s pitch black and those poor human beings are out there putting more barrels out amidst crazy drivers….
Oh man, you’re probably right!
Sadly, I think I am.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! U R 2 MUCH. That made me laugh laugh laugh. We need to get you on staff at the NY Times funny section!!! 😉
I meant to write comic section. Duh! I’m too giddy from this one.
I knew what you meant 🙂
😀 I pulled this one off Paulette, but funny isn’t usually my strength 🙂
I drove out to the east coast from Winnipeg this summer, and it wasn’t too bad. I think they are figuring out how to make traffic flow better. Of course in my own area, the town traffic in construction is hell. The flag persons could be depicted as gargoyles sitting on the barrels!
I feel bad for the flaggers. Ugh. So much so often. Ugh Ugh Ugh.
I can totally picture that!
Sigh, me too….
Be careful as all those “good intentions” are in the barrels.
Oh geez, that makes it all the more real!
Haha – well done C made me chuckle. 😄
😉 Thanks Jen. Those bloody things are EVERY WHERE!
That is so funny and probably true!!! LOL
😉 So many folks seem to connect to this one Patty 🙂
Over here they set up the bollards then nothing happens for weeks. Finally work begins and when it ends no one removes those bollards!
I felt sorry for the fellas working in the pitch black with barely any lights setting out MORE barrels. I didn’t see the point in risking their lives. It’s not like they are going to ever finish road work…..
Oh so the main road to hell is I95 in Florida then. LOL
HA! I think many people are nominating roads! 😉
This must be a very fine example of regional humor! LOL! I don’t know these containers from our roadsides, but they look like they’ll be very stylish for Halloween! Maybe that will help? 🙂
😉 No help at all Debra! 😉 Don’t they do road work out your way??? 🙂
I find that to definitely be the case. Too funny!
😉 Glad it’s not just me noticing!
Haha! I just took a little trip to the doctor in the midst of orange construction barrels. Yes, it was hell for me.
See, I’m on to something here.
Haha! So true.
It just has to be!
