Just One Minute

When life is looming

And you don’t see it playing out

The way you dreamed

The way you planned,

Just be right here

In this minute.

Just this minute.

It’s all you need to do.

You can do one minute.

One second at a time.

Love this, Colleen. I’m now at the point of living one minute at a time. Ya just never know if it will be the last one, so make sure it is newsworthy — unless, of course, you are in a coma. In that case, wake up and smell the coffee. then sleep again.

I am sorry for your loss, Colleen. I am hoping not a family member, hoping an older, more sickly distant co-worker who will be better off in peaceful bliss of heaven.
If a second at a time is the best you can handle on your big shoulders, I cannot imagine your painful situation. hugs + hugs xo
