So Tortured

I believe

There are people

Who live so tortured in their hearts,

Their souls and their thoughts

That they cannot grasp

Or hold on

Within their very own world.

And it slips away

Or they push it away

Or it gradually erodes.

And what they lose

They blame the world for.

They hurt

They hurt internally

They hurt others.

I believe

In their pain

In their loss.

And in ours.

I believe a lot of things but blaming others, or the world, for my perceived shortcomings is a very poor belief.

  3. I believe in this piece of writing. Straight on truth. ❤️

  4. You are right. There are people like this. What a sad way to have to live.

  5. Their and our own world view is a reflection of our own inner selves. That’s what I feel. And I agree with what you wrote.

  6. I’ve met a few like this along the way. No way to get through to them. ❤ ❤ ❤

To be accountable and responsible we need to realize we make mistakes and cannot blame much on others, we can make our life happy, with changing our own outlook.
I don’t dwell on others blame games, since this has been found to sometimes have roots that we cannot understand.
Middle children, poor children, mistreated and abused children find shortcomings in others but sometimes the causes in these cases are biological, are family based or backgrounds are real.

  9. We are all born different and some people are more positive than others. This mixed with war gives often very sad results.
    Very well written, Colleen 🙂
