Even Superman felt the strain of rescuing the world,
Needed his friends,
And appreciated a helping hand.
Even if all I can do is help balance the weight
I’ll do what I can.
I adore your illustrations!
Thank you!!!!! 🙂
I’ll lend a helping hand!
You’re a good egg Marissa 🙂

we’re all here to help carry the load )

This is lovely, Colleen. And your illustrations so adorable.
Thank you very much OB 🙂
From all I know of you over these last few years, I truly believe that you live by what you wrote: that you will do what you can. Reading your posts is uplifting and a real gift for me. Meeting you, albeit in cyberspace, has been a blessing. On some days when my heart is aching, I read your post–see your drawings–and everything inside changes. In this crazy world you make a big difference. ❤ Your friend Paulette
Paulette, at a time when I truly need uplifting and encouraging words, there you are. Thank you so very much. I’ve been blessed with amazing people in my world, I hope that any goodness in me, is truthfully reflecting the impact of others on/in my life. Thank you my wonderful friend ❤
It takes ALL of us working together to maintain a healthy balance.
This is true. And working together is something a lot of folks don’t quite grasp….
Needed to see this today! Thanks for the share
You’re welcome! 🙂
This is my message for the day. Thanks
You’re Welcome Golden Brodie. 🙂
Indeed. This is a timely message, Colleen. ❤ ❤ ❤
Magnificent drawings as always.
Thank you Tess, and YOU are very welcome ❤
Beautiful words … even more beautiful illustrations!
Thank you Viveka. Sometimes we are the ones needing help, sometimes we are the helpers. 🙂
Love this one
Thank you, it makes me feel good to know I might be able to help someone.
I feel the weight of the world less, knowing we have such kind helping hands in between my blog and all of your friends here, Colleen.
Being the oldest, I was the one responsible for much. It was a role I cherished but did continue throughout my adult life, so far.
Oh the weight bearing jobs of life…. I know them well too Robin. Some are a blessing (helping friends and family) some are more muscle straining…. 😉
