SEE A BOOK
PICK IT UP
AND ALL THE DAY
YOU’LL HAVE A BOOK IN YOUR HANDS.
UNLESS YOU PUT IT DOWN.
(My book isn’t very heavy so you could carry it all day.)
I love picking up your posts, Colleen.
S.w.e.e.t. ❤ Subtle. ❤ 🙂
I love to pick up books…and it’s often rather hard to put them down!
I know. When we travel, I always buy books, put them in my backpack, and refuse to unpack them. I have carried 15 pounds of books on my back before. I don’t like letting them go.
Oh goodness! When we were in NY, we bought my daughter a big Garfield book at a thrift shop to read while we were there but made very clear she understood that the book was going to stay in NY. We love books but also like to travel light. It was a bit heartbreaking though, have to say.
You should try and find one on line and get it for her. 🙂 I love that story though. I love that you bought books on vacation 🙂 It’s my biggest spending on vacations.
Oh, my daughter has so many books I’m sure she won’t miss it. We go thrift store shopping for books every other week, plus regular library trips and then she has her school library books.
I love how you live Marissa. 🙂
Yeah, cheap, ha, ha!
I pass my books on, like a pay forward book program, Colleen! I love the picture today and it’s invaluable message. We can get many other things from books: history, calmness, information, humor, the Word, . . .
Amen Robin. I love my books. Can’t get enough of them.
I have ones I cannot part with, also. Colleen, books deserve to be treasured, as you do! 🙂
