Ready or Not

We might prepare for an awful lot of stuff.

But we never can control

What stuff might, or might not, happen.

As prepared as we may be

It might not be enough

It might be too much

We may have just been utterly wrong in our predictions.

Prepare away.

But it might be best

To be prepared to not be prepared properly.

  1. With exams in exactly one week’s time, my friends are I are in the last minute panic zone, wondering about all we’ve left to learn and whether we’re doing anything right at all, how futile our attempts seem to be as the days are closing in. Thanks for the inspiring write up! 😃

  2. That might be me in that heavy sweater! I’m a bit of an over-achiever in preparing for the worst. LOL! Often that’s a waste of effort, but I seem to feel better about it! 🙂

    • Well there you go then Debra, if you feel good about it, then that alone probably helps you feel prepared even if what you are preparing for ends up not happening…. I know that makes sense in my head…. But I get what you mean is what I’m trying to say. 😉

  3. I am a worrier so many times I have what is needed due to being “over” prepared. Those unexpected moments, so hard to figure out how to find the right preparation every time, though!!
