Until You’re Ready

Where ever it is you want

Or need to be,

Just put your feet on the path,

It’s all you have to do today.

On The Path

And if you aren’t ready to take that step,

Just place yours shoes on the path,

Until you’re ready to step in,

And go.

    • I went and checked out how yours looks, what a huge disservice to you.

I never use the reader. Only get my blogs by email. It means hundreds of emails a day. But, at least I control when I see them and know that I get them.

    ‘go.’ is my mantra.

  3. This is wonderful Colleen!

  4. After all, it is the journey, not the destination. It’s best to be mentally ready not challenged. How else can you enjoy the journey? Love, love, love this sketch, Colleen. ❀ ❀

  5. I like what the comment above mine says, it’s the journey. You sure do make that point. ❀ πŸ™‚

I love this so much Colleen. It speaks to me on a very personal level. I want to make a huge change but every time I take one step forward, I go seven steps back. My shoes are on the path but they have gathered dust and are all but forgotten. It is so hard sometimes. But it’s good to know that as long as one is trying, they will be ok. That one is not a failure for not completing it on time. One is just not ready. One will, soon, and in time, be ready. Much love, and happy holidays!

    • OB, it is so gratifying (??? if that’s the right word) when I write something and it connects to someone else. Thank you for telling me this. Love returned, and wishing you the most wonderful of holidays as well.

  8. Love the drawing and the words!

  9. There is so much wisdom in this that it takes my breath away. Phew!

  11. Wonderful. Put your best foot first. Then it’s 1 foot in front of the other.

  12. Ugh. I still have to do Christmas shopping. The grocery store was a zoo. My husband just asked if I was ready to go yet. I’m still resting up from that last zoo visit!
