Even a path taken before
Is a new path
When you walk it again.
The path never remains exactly the same
And our steps are never exactly replicated.
yes true 🙂
It’s never the same is it Gys?
sometimes the earth shifts, it’s important to keep your eyes open –
Pebbles roll. Terrain changes. We step differently. 🙂
“Sometimes the earth shifts” is a post all by it’s self Beth.
Hmm. Good thought. Exactly. ❤ ❤ 🙂
Never repeated exactly huh Tess? ❤
Nope. Not at all. ❤ ❤ ❤
Oh yes indeed! I was thinking this on the route home from the train station today, oddly enough. I found myself walking down a street when I suddenly stopped because I honestly had no recollection of getting there. I had missed the entire walk because my mind was elsewhere and I felt really disengaged with my surroundings. And I thought, I’ve walked this route countless times and each time was an entirely different experience. Today I was in a dreamworld but last week I noticed every gum spot and crevice. Life is such a surreal journey.
That has happened SO often (too often!) to me. My mind wanders and even though I am on familiar ground, not knowing how I’ve gotten there leaves me disoriented. I get this!!!!!
Good points, Colleen. Something totally different might catch our eyes each time.
Right? And our feet will never fall in the same treaded spot.
These blogs are like a bumper offer for poet like me
Thank you kindly cs poetry.
It is all of these steps that make life such an exciting journey.
I’ve sure repeated my steps many times! I hope to at least learn something a little different along the way. I “hope to” but can’t always say that I do. Sometimes I have to run into an obstacle first. 🙂
And….there are many an obstacle that I have reencountered and still not yet mastered!
