I love having places to go.
A world to explore.
I love being weary
Traveled and bleary.
I love coming home
From wherever I roam.
Nothing like home and a good cup of tea
putting your feet up, I’m sure you agree.
I’m all for some travel and love a good roam
but there’s nothing as good as relaxing at home.
Well said Peter! 🙂 I love the travel and hope to always do more. But always feel good about coming home.
I can tell. You love adventures!
I do Priceless, I really do! 🙂
Me too! 😀
Me too. 😉
🙂 You do, I can tell ! 🙂
We should start a “Traveling To Home” club 🙂
Same here. Love to travel and love the return home!
Welcome to the newly formed club (I just formed it in another comment) 🙂
It’s nice to be home again…as long as you don’t have to go back to work.
Well, I do. But not until Monday. 🙂
It’s great to get away but even better to come home.
Travelling is awesome and yes, be it ever so humble there’s no place like home… ❤
No place at all Diana ❤
coming home is such a wonderful part of a journey –
The “sigh as you walk in the door” part. 🙂
I fly to D.C. two weeks from yesterday, and I wish I had the eagerness to travel that you do!
Well, it’s kind of weird really. For years as a child we packed up EVERY weekend and went to a family farm. I mean EVERY weekend. As a young adult (and to older adult) I despised the idea of packing up and leaving home. But I think that completely changed who I was. Because I love the exploring. I do love routine (go figure) but given the chance to go explore and see what I haven’t seen….I’m in!!
I hope your travels are safe, fruitful and fun!!!
Thank you. I hope this trip goes well too. Nervous, but praying!! 🙂
Is it for your books? Work? Or fun? I am SURE you will be great.
I’ve been asked to speak at a conference on how to have a happy marriage. Eep!
Oh PIF, you will be sensational. I just know it. 🙂 Will we hear about it afterwards?
Possibly. At any rate, I’ll tell you. 🙂
Thank you! I look forward to hearing the good story of it all. 🙂
Let’s hope it is one. It will be interesting to experience a real winter for the first time in over a decade. Or maybe they’ll be an unaccountable heat wave while I’m there. But I hope not. I might as well get the full experience. 🙂
It’s not winter here, that’s for sure. I hope it’s perfect, whatever it turns out to be.
🙂 Thank you, friend.
Your welcome. I’m excited for you 🙂
How about you be nervous for me instead, so I don’t have to be? 😉
Okay, lets do that. Put those worries down, I’ll pick them up. And then give them back when you return. I bet they are a lot lighter. 😉
Deal! You’re the best. 🙂
Love the luggage! 🙂 Welcome home!
Thank you, true to the color of my actual luggage. 🙂
I’m with you Colleen 💛
Nothing like it Val 🙂
I love the drawing
Thank you, it felt almost actual. 😉
Your drawings are always real and cool x
Thank you Lyn ❤
