An Old Lady

I met an old lady the other day.

She seemed to love me.

Actually what she said was

“Oh My God Honey!  I love you!”

So she may actually have loved me,

Or at least our interaction.

She grabbed my hand and said

“I need to remember you!”

How do you not appreciate moments like this in life?

You do, you just do.

I like the idea of someone wanting to remember me.

And I know I’ll remember her.

  1. Fun, but don’t offer your kidney yet.

  2. Who wouldn’t love you, Colleen!

Wow, this was so sweet! What a treasure of a lady. I love people who can express how they really feel with no inhibition. If I loved somebody I didn’t know very well, or loved their personality, I don’t think I would have been able to say it half so eloquently as she did! I could almost hear her voice in your description! 🙂

    • Thanks OB. It is amazing to come across people like this. She was, from what little I now know of her, quite an amazing woman. I’m glad you could hear her, it was a wonderful sound. 🙂

You busted the “hold it back moment”. if we could just express the goodness inside. Colleen, I remember you everyday.

This is a great way to live: you being quite memorable and lovable while she just sys what she thinks and gives smiles away! By the way, you include all of the above making a special impression, Colleen! 🙂

How rarely do we so enthusiastically hear from someone that we make a difference! She definitely shared a warm, verbal hug! Hold onto that!

  15. How flattering! What did you do to deserve this? Not saying that it had to be something dramatic for you to impress someone, of course! 🙂
