Lighten The Load

I spent a lot of my life

Holding on to debris I did not need.

Who knew it could feel so good

To throw that sh!t out?

I mean

If we wouldn’t pack garbage and pay to store it

Why do we pay throughout our lives

To store the debris we carry in our thoughts, our hearts, and our souls.

The cost is exacting.

Lighten the load.

The payoff is astounding.

I heard once that cluttered surroundings means a cluttered mind.

    • Funny, I’ve heard the opposite too. That people with cluttered desks have clearer thinking. Or….maybe I’m wrong. I should clean up my desk and see if it I think better. πŸ˜‰

That is funny and typical πŸ™‚ there’s always two sides. Maybe we do need to experiment, but clutter drives me crazy, unless it’s in my junk drawer.
