Angry and Disappointed

It’s not easy.

But somehow

I need to stop getting

Angry and disappointed

In what others do not do.

It’s a waste of energy

That I need

To do the things they do not do.

  1. I know this feeling!
Recently I once again became aware that I am significantly less angry at what others don’t do when my emotional tank is topped up, when I’ve taken care of my own needs.

yes, i understand this. because of the way i see and approach the world and stay true to my word, i am disappointed when others don’t come through. i try to remember that others don’t always approach the world in the same way. hard to do at times.

  6. Easier said than done, letting go of these emotions. But I’m with you on trying and working on it. 😉

  7. Frustrating for sure. And good that you recognize the futility of the emotion. I only try so long then do it myself or shift course, but it’s hard not to let that emotion stick all over you. Shake it off and dance, or pedal faster!

  8. Anger is OK, disappointment is OK, both in very small portions. Regret, however, is a totally wasted emotion.😺

  9. It is…it’s that Little Red Hen syndrome. We’ve all been there.

🙂 I have a few I have to learn to hold my anger for the energy to do what they are supposed to be doing.
