Officially,
It’s my backyard.
Imaginationally,
It’s a country getaway,
An exclusive mountaintop retreat,
A snowy cabin haven.
Officially,
It’s a comfort zone.
There’s nothing wrong with a place to imagine.
And quite frankly,
To briefly hide out in.
It’s always a pleasure to receive a notification of a new post by The Chatter Blog. Love your art work. So I have nominated you for the Sunshine Blog Award. See the post on my blog (3cstyle.com) for details. Congrats!

We all need a place to hide sometimes. Yours looks a great place! I love the South African word Stoep, that’s exactly what you have there.

We do Peter. And if not hide, sometimes to just be, peacefully. Without the world interfering. And thank you for “stoep”.

I love your backyard hideaway, Colleen. I feel the same. I “de-stressify” in my backyard. It’s a gift to have our own space, isn’t it?

It very much is a gift Debra. I know how fortunate I am to have ‘it’. And appreciate it.
