I do not, never did, learn quickly.
But when I learn,
I learn well.
I like his hair. :’D
Thank you! 🙂 (But it’s a she…at least from here. But it could be a fella I suppose 🙂 )
Oh so true, but of most of humanity, still hasn’t learnt how to learn.
learning is a hard process, but the will to learn is the best, first step! And errors are human. Thank you ivors20, you are irreplaceable!
That’s the truth Ivor!
i so get this!
As a teacher AND a student. You have a great perspective.
Yeah, once it sinks in, it’s got me by the ears, MBC. I love this. 🙂
Thank you MBM. Might take awhile to get through the sludge in my head….but when it does. 🙂 My sludge. Your ears. Simpatico MBM.
C’est moi. Takes awhile, but once truly taken in…I got it. Good to know yourself. Thanks for this.
haha, goldenbrodie, it´s me, not you!
You’re welcome GB. Kind of makes me feel ‘better’ knowing it’s not just me. Sometimes I see the world around me and wonder HOW do people catch on so quick????
I have to work at it. My husband on the other hand reads it and gets it. Oh the time I could save were that true for moi. 🙂
My husband is the same way. I can’t tell you the times I’ve said “okay, explain this to me please”. (And then repeated that request!)
Some lessons only need to be taught once.
This is true. I have had the great fortune of picking up SOME things the first go round. 😉
Yeah something like blogging and mainting a website can take a while to learn. There’s alot but every time you learn you add another peace to the puzzle
Fortunately I’ve been at the blogging part for awhile….I don’t know it all, but I have learned. And you are so right, one piece at a time, builds things beautifully.
I may never learn my lessons! I love history when someone enthusiastic tells me about a place or item. I love math when my checking account balances but get a little blank when someone talks figures and equations. . .
I like this post and as always your sense of humor, Colleen! You at the old wooden desk is an endearing drawing.
Robin, I love how it is you love to learn. That makes complete sense.
Thank you for liking the drawing. Sometimes these images just pop in my head. (You will notice that is one of the thoughts I thought okay to share!!!) 😉
I was teasing you, Colleen. 😀 I’m known for inserting my foot in my mouth, and I cannot change now! 60+ means freedom to let my opinions out. Take ’em or leave ’em!
And that’s the important thing.
yes, it is!
That’s what I finally figured out.
I’ll bet you learn what’s most important! It’s remembering what we learn that’s sometimes tricky! 🙂
I am discovering that 😉
And I hope I’ve learned some important things. ANd I hope I have more to learn!
From a teacher’s perspective, this is very thought provoking. It is my goal to reach every student in front of me.
Thank you Mitch. I appreciate your perspective.
