The Walk

Sometimes

You just need a friend

To walk

And talk

With you.

And the world will just have to wait for you to get back.

Perfect timing. My Beloved just left to spend three days in the redwoods with her friends.

Two to three times a week the world stops for my friend and myself. And when we are ready we hop back on.

  15. I love solitary walks, that way I get to talk to the trees, birds, animals, clouds, and myself. I have really deep conversations sometimes!!

Ohh, that can certainly be very beautiful. But I prefer the walk with a friend, together you can discover double!

    • In all seriousness, I walk outside in the morning and speak to my plants, if I am in the woods I will touch a tree and say “hello” (if there are carvings I will say “I hope that didn’t hurt”). πŸ˜‰ So far none have spoken back, yet I feel like I conversed. πŸ™‚

I want to try this, I never did! I always talk to animals. I always did…also to little bugs, snails, and with birds…IΒ΄m sure they understand…hahaha…my friend laughs always. She says, IΒ΄m always talking german, the only one in house I speak Frensh with is the cat….this is really stupid, I do not know, why IΒ΄m doing this….I can imagine, that it must be very sad if talking to plants and animals is the only conversation, because I think people need to speak to friends aswell. But it might be a good supplement to feel one with godΒ΄s nature…..

Yeah…nothing like chatting while walking or just the calm of silence.

It is true that when you walk faster, you talk faster! My friend and I have done this for about 25 years, which makes the pauses less likely and the interruptions more likely!
