if you loose confidence the first time, you realize the worth!

I suppose that is a possibility!

Isn‘t it the only way to realize the worth? If you never had confidence you do not know this feeling if „ light“ living… if you always have confidence you do not know how „heavy“ life can be without……

If you don’t have confidence you may not know the feeling. But I think confidence in others is recognizable.
And yes, that is the point of the post. That you don’t know the gift of it, if you have it and don’t understand what it feels like to not have it.

I pretend I have it, and it often works well!

I have pretended as well, mostly. Almost always. Other times I can’t even manage a fake out. 😉

I’ve spoken in front of 650 people but needed a gallon of water to keep me going. I’m sure there’s a logical physical reason why my mouth instantly loses all lubrication when confronted with public speaking!

My voice turns into a squeak. I have a deeper voice….until I have to speak. I bet that water helps….and gives you something to hold onto!

I love the wisdom in this. But there is a fine line between confidence and cockiness.

When we had kids a couple of them were quiet. Much quieter than I ever was, but very like my other half. I asked what would have helped him growing up, he said if only people could ‘accept me as I am.’ So we left them be quiet and shy and didn’t comment or push them and here they are now in their twenties quietly confident.

I very much like this Tric. And quietly confident is an even greater gift.

Thank you Infinite. Sometimes we can be on both sides of something and not recognize it’s value….or do recognize it’s value. 😉

Some days I have it
Some days I don’t have it
Some days are here
Some days are there
Some days are diamonds
Some days are square
Some days are fair
Some days are really unfair

Really? But this is an amazing gift if you can recognize something that you never felt yourself… I think I only can recognize things that I know myself..😔

Oh I see confidence in others frequently. And recognize it immediately. Sometimes I’m encouraged by it, sometimes I’m jealous!! 😀
