But I Would Have

I went to Ireland and didn’t take these people with me.

But I would have

If I was independently wealthy.

I’ve had fun not traveling with others.

But man is it so much better when I really get to go!

  1. Lol. Racking up those infrequent flyer miles.

  2. We spent time in Belfast about four years ago and loved it. I’m glad you got to go! It’s an amazing place full of history, beauty and the friendliest people I’ve ever met! You must have fit in quite nicely!

I believe you really enjoyed Ireland! It was interesting reading about it!

  4. We absolutely adored not going with you on your journeys. I sent comments every single day. Some were spoken gently, some were shouted, all were joyful. Thank you for a very special trip to Ireland. It was a privilege to share with you.

  5. I am so glad you got to go. Every time you come back it is more inspired.

  6. I am green ( no pun) that you didn’t take me. I am a welsh-Irish girl you know yet never set foot on my ancestral land. I’m so glad you brought a bit of it here. ☘️

You’ve had a wonderful time! I’m sure all those other people are happy for you, and maybe they can go next time! πŸ™‚

    • Well most of them are better traveled than I. And I would LOVE to travel with all of them. They were all very happy for me. πŸ™‚ I did have a wonderful time Debra. It was a great trip, we took my brother and his wife and it was amazing.

  10. I don’t see myself in there? Did I fall off the cliff?

I went for a long walk today, through woods and along a coastal path. On the way I passed a ruined church and graveyard as well as an old British army fort. In the distance was Spike Island (which is our answer to Alcatraz) and beyond it Cobh, the last port of call for the Titanic. And yes I thought how much you’d love it.
