We have a bayside beach here in Geelong called “Rippleside”. In my youth I spent many a summer’s day, diving off the beach pier, and I fondly remember those moments of freedom, solitude and peace, before the impact splash……
Brilliant Ivor. I imagined this moment, hanging in the air, for that smallest fraction of time, before impact. And then before ‘we’ impacted the world.
Pause, then imagine the plunge into the cool water and the rush to the surface. Then, you enter the water crisply, then rise with the bubbles out of the water and take flight! Joyfully soaring and taking the plunge, again and again. Wouldn’t that be awesome?
This illustration fits the moment before all big decisions, doesn’t it? We make ripples al the time, for sure. I think jumping into a pool is one of the more delightful ones, though. 🙂
