Done Day

Just a thought as I dropped in on my reflections of the day.

I shall change the wording to reflect what my father used to say:

You don’t have to you get to.

It is all about one’s perspective, is it not? I recall many decades ago when I was caring for my Gram during her last years…every morning I entered her room with a cheery ‘Good Morning Gram’ and she would smile and say : “If I wake up it’s a good morning!” Your Father sounds as wise as my Gram. Thank-you! P.S. Visited the post from long ago titled “Then He Was Gone”, simply beautiful!

    • Thank you Ellen. I’ve had LOTS of seniors (and sick folks) tell me the same thing about waking up. I want to wake up grateful every day.

And thanks for visiting post about dad. 🙂 I really appreciate that.
