it is a very special place that never leaves you
Never. Nor I, it.

Mountain trails are always good. They tell you, you are, where you need to be.

They really do Cindy. One just has to be able to hear this.
A good place to be.
So very good.
Life is good when you can close your eyes and be there, MBC.
I’m now half way there
But I don’t know where there is……
I’m so glad you can appreciate where you are, Colleen. That’s good news. May it ever be so.
Thank you Chuck, that is a wonderful wish for someone.
Just to be is wonderful, Colleen 🙂
It really is Irene 🙂
Well said indeed! In this depiction of yourself, you very much look the part of what you have become for me…my Wee Wise Guru! Thank-you!
Awwwww! A guru! Thank you Ellen 🙂
And on the great trail of life, I think I need to do that on a daily basis!
Me too Sheri. I do these things to remind myself.
Never been on a mountain trail. I imagine it must be a treat.
I’ve been very lucky to have been on a few. I loved them.
I know that wonderful feeling, though not necessarily on the side of a mountain trail, although you get such a fantastic aspect from being up high. When I go for my walks, I love to stop for a few moments to appreciate the past, present & future of my journey. It’s amazing what you can notice, & the difference in how a place can make you feel if you try to be conscious of your surroundings.
That being conscious part is key Debbie. So many times I existed without that consciousness. I guess that was part of the learning process of becoming aware.
Me too, Colleen! I think I became even more conscious of my surroundings when I deepened my interest in photography. That learning to look around at different viewpoints, look up & down, notice detail of light, patterns, colour & shadows. Including objects or aspects to add depth, perspective & scale. Then practicing all these things without a camera, when you’re doing anything, from the mundane to the unusual. Once you’re attuned you tend to do it all the time and add more to intensify the experience. When we moved from the city to the country it was like my senses had exploded, and I started seeing, hearing, smelling things, as if I’d never done it before, & it was wonderful!
Oh this so speaks to me. For many reasons. One being a secret! 😂or actually just something I am working on. But I do feel everything you just wrote here.
Ooh this all sounds very exciting, Colleen! I hope it works out for you & you’ll reveal your secret soon! Keep that mountain view & the feeling of being there, present..it sounds like the perfect inspiration! 😊
Somebody is VERY intuitive. 🙂
Haha! 😁 Somebody tries..
Somebody makes me laugh 🙂
Somebody is very trying! 😉
Well done !!!! 🥰
And what exactly would you do differently on that trail, Colleen? And why that particular trail? Are you feeling braver? So glad you are where you are too. Way cool! xo
I don’t know that I would do anything different. I greatly appreciated that trail. I don’t feel braver either. 🙂 I feel gratitude though. Lots of gratitude.
Me too. Lots of gratitude!! xo
Give me a mountain trail with only the sound of river nearby.
Or the ocean! With the wind of course. 🙂
Anyplace that special needs to be revisited. I hope you can. 🙂
Me too Debra. 🙂 Thank you for that wish!
This made smile …with the glimpses I received 🙂
Oh I’m glad. It makes me smile every time I think of it. 🙂
