    That is why I’ve pushed back from what I was told and now make my own world. Yet still, those niggling “old” habits do pop up that I was taught and I have to see them in order to squash them and make new. Awesome post, Colleen!!

    To do otherwise feels cruel to me! We need to hear what comes out of our adult mouths…and ask who is listening!

  8. This reminds me a little of the time, years ago, when I was telling my husband something that had happened during the day, and my young daughter chimed in with, “And then did you say, ‘What the hell?!'” Oops. :/
