Upon reading this I was reminded of something from a mid 1920’s book “The Game of Life and How to Play It” that I had read as a teenager. Just to clarify, that was decades after the book was published! But, I digress. The author wrote in the book : “There is a supply for every demand”. For some unknown reason that has remained tucked within a small convolution of my brain and somehow unbidden, just now, it has fallen out and demands to be shared. One might ask, exactly what does this have to do with your lovely art and eloquent writing? Truthfully, I haven’t a clue. However, demands from whatever source should be met to the best of one’s abilities if one is able and the demand is within reason. It is my hope that together the Day and I have done so. Thank-you! P.S. I love the reflection in your eyeglasses!!

    • Ellen, thank you for seeing the reflection in the glasses. What I see is reflected.

Your comment is lovely. We should do our best to meet our demands. From the strenuous demands to the demands of our heart/soul/body to relax and answer the call to do other things as well. I appreciate you and this quote, it struck a cord with me.
