  1. Really good post. I heard a speech from a high up military man who wrote a book, Make Your Bed, which was on NY Times best seller list. He taught the men under him what you’re talking about by telling them to start their day by making their bed. It gives a sense of control. Accomplishment. Every day when I make my bed, I feel good I put forth the effort to do that simple task. Really love this one, Colleen.

    • Thank you Paulette. Funny, connected story. When I first married it never occurred to me to make my bed every day. I still remember the day I walked into my bedroom, saw the unmade bed, and thought…how lazy to not do that every morning. I’ve done it every morning since and felt a huge satisfaction.
