Ha! I just returned from my day 2 of prayer walk. It motivated me to go. The snow is falling again. I rather enjoy it. Almost as much as I enjoyed your beautiful post. Thank you. 🙂
I love the sound of this living prayer. I love that you pray for others like this. I love that walking through icy conditions is motivation for you to pray for someone else. I hear your message loud and clear. And I do appreciate the beauty in ‘struggling’ whilst praying for someone in strife, it makes it feel like you’re really doing something. Sending love ❤
Very beautifully written and quite inspirational too! You brought to mind a quote that was committed to memory at a very young age. “Prayer should be the key of the day and the lock of night.” – George Herbert 1593-1633 – Priest of the Church of England and a poet. Thank-you!
I frequently take prayer walks, Colleen. I understand. There are times my heart is so heavy with care for someone or “someones” and I just need to move as I pray. Sometimes it’s absolutely necessary, and I know it is important. ❤

Maybe I could do an Aussie living prayer, under the hot midday sun, but it will be a very short one ..

Colleen I did not reblog as such but copy and pasted your blog into a F.I.T.F.S. I did on you as a follow up to the one I did August 2nd 2012 and linked it I think in tags! Now off to walk! https://aworldapartin2.wordpress.com/2022/01/25/come-and-listen-to-my-story-about-a-man-named-jedoh-no-i-mean-the-chatter-master/

Thank you SO much OB. I feel when you say something so kind I should use your proper name Lenora, but I’m kind of attached to you as OB. ❤️

That is indeed a living, powerful, courageous prayer. One that comes from beyond your own comfort – it is a clear bold beautiful one.
