Maybe our participation in how we respond to what makes up the components of our lives is the only part we actually can control. It takes some keen observing and listening sometimes!
So true Debra. I still flash back (0ften) to my college instructor who told us we have choice in everything we do (act/react). It was truly an eye opener for me. A very basic thing that I had not quite grasped.
Love both the art and the wisdom! Reading this I could not help but think of the some words taken from Winston Churchill’s lengthy address to a joint session of the U.S. Congress in December of 1941. “Sure I am that this day – now we are the master’s of our fate; that the task which has been set before us is not above our strength; that its pangs and toils are not beyond our endurance.” This part was memorized during my senior year of high school due to the Nun teaching a WW l l history class…she was British! Thank-you!!
The wisest words! We cannot be the masters and controllers of everything in life but we can definitely choose to decide how we react and act.
I love this one.
Again, wise and true words. We can speak our truth whether anyone cares or anyone listens we can still state our truth and that is what makes you so special, wise one. Love Joni xoxoxo

“…I’m the master at drafting and designing my reactions and choices.” How true. We are, the master of our reactions and choices.

I learned that is pretty much the only control we have. 🙂
